Why-Lomas-Rishi-Failed-To-Attain-Immortality-English-Photo

Death is a universal truth in 21 universes of Brahm Kaal, yet seekers in the Hindu religion in pursuit of attaining immortality have dedicated themselves to severe penance since Eras. There are several shreds of evidence in Hindu mythology where seekers demanded the boon of immortality from the Trinity Gods as a reward for their intense austerity, which over some time became a curse to them instead of the fulfilment of their desire to have an everlasting age.  The reason is that the power of Tridev Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva is minimal. They are in the vicious cycle of birth-rebirth; then how can they grant a boon of immortality to their seekers?. Also, attaining immortality in Kaal’s realm is against the law of Almighty Kabir because all 21 universes of Kaal Brahm are mortal.

The spirit of remaining immortal in souls in this mortal world is an outcome of that happiness that they had experienced in the immortal abode, which means in Satlok, which is the native world of all beings residing in Kaal’s realm.

Here, it would be imperative to mention that at the inception of the creation of nature,  all souls trapped in Jyoti Niranjan's realm used to reside in the immortal world  Satlok, where there is no death, and the same spirit remains alive in every soul, even here. The soul keeps wandering to relish the same happiness in the realm of Satan Kaal, which is impossible.

With severe austerity, although seekers gained accomplishments and received a boon of long life from their revered deities, they did not gain immortality. In turn, such seekers later regretted their wrong aspiration to become eternal because in that long life, they experienced sufferings only. Even Gods in Kaal’s world die after drinking nectar after a stipulated duration. No one can be immortal here, even the owner, Kaal himself.

This article will narrate the true account of one such seeker from the ancient Vedic period popularly named Lomasha/ Lomas Rishi in Hinduism who is believed to be the long-lived sage on earth ever, showcasing the bitter truth of Satan Kaal as how he deceives the children of Supreme God Kabir.

Mentioned below are the key points of the write-up.

  • Who was Lomasha Rishi?
  • Story of Kakbhushundi and Lomas Rishi
  • Dialogue between Lomasha Rishi and Shri Ramchandra
  • Lomas Rishi's statement on harm caused by keeping fast
  • Who is immortal?

Who Was Lomasha Rishi?

Lomasha Rishi was a great ascetic and a scholar well known in Hinduism and a staunch worshipper of Tamogun Shiva/ Shankar. At a tender age, Lomasha feared death and hence wanted to become immortal, which is impossible in the mortal world of Kaal. Brahm Kaal is a deceiver and plays foul with the children of the Supreme God as he is vindictive after being cursed.

Due to a lack of true spiritual knowledge, Lomasha Rishi pleased his revered deity Lord Shiva by performing intense austerity and demanded to bless him to become immortal. But he received a boon from him for a very long age since Lord Shiva is incapable of providing immortality as he himself is mortal.

Sage Lomas had excess hairs on his body therefore, out of ignorance tactfully he demanded that at the end of every Kalp (Age) he should lose only one hair from his body. He should die only when he becomes hairless. He should live for such a long age. Lord Shiva granted him this boon.

Note: The calculation of the age of all Gods is given in Suksham Veda.

Initially, he was delighted to have received this boon but soon he started regretting his tactful demand because he realised that there are only sufferings in Kaal’s realm. There is no trace of happiness and aiming to attain immortality was his sheer foolishness.

Important: This is how Kaal deceives devotees/ seekers trapped in his web.

  • First, he invoked the desire in Lomas to become immortal. He knew well this was impossible in his dirty world.
  • Second, he let Lomas suffer by leading a very long age as there is only hue and cry in his 21 universes.

Note: Devotion to God is done to attain him, but the arbitrary conduct of seekers like Lomasha Rishi fails to achieve this sole purpose of human life. Finally, they remain trapped in a vicious cycle of birth and rebirth.

Moving ahead we will know another aspect of devotion in Kaal’s  realm where the vices like greed, attachment, arrogance, anger and like in seekers dominate instead of subsiding.

Story of Kakbhushandi and Lomas Rishi

Kakbhushundi was a pious soul, a humble being who had a crow-like human appearance who received this life-form as a result of a curse bestowed on him by Sage Lomas.

Why did Lomash Rishi Curse Kakbhushundi?

Once, Lomas Rishi was delivering a sermon about Sargun God. Kakbhushundi was sitting in the audience and listening to Lomas Rishi's words. At that time, Kakbhushundi was like any ordinary human being. He was firm in the belief about the existence of God and wanted to know ‘how to attain God’.

During the spiritual discourse, Kakbhushundi started arguing with Lomas Rishi about the Sargun and Nirgun forms of God. Although the sage tried to satisfy him with appropriate explanations, arrogant Kakbhushundi refused to accept his points and insulted Lomas Rishi.

Respected Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj beautifully describes this episode of conversation between Lomas Rishi and Kakbhushundi in Sukshma Veda, which was once narrated by Kaagbhushand Ji to Garud Dev.

Yog dhyan aur naam naresha। Jap tap karni se mite andesha।। Pranayaam Kiya parnaama। Swarg Puri ko chale vimana।। Lomas Rishi jahan katha karayee। Jahan hum prasang poocha jayee।। Sargun katha hote tis bari। Hum to nirgun ke adhikari।। Sargun arth hamo gauhraya। Lomas Rishi prasang batlaya।।  Bahur samwad Kiya tis bera। Baithe jaye nikat hum nera।।

Sargun katha bina kya gave। Nirgun pad nazron nahin aave।। Jahan wahan bole Kaagbhusanda। Darsha adhbhut roop akhanda।। Sargun sakal naash ho jaayee।  Nirgun sada ho kyon laayee।। Lomas rishi prasang vistari। Suno Garud adi katha hamari।। Bahur kaha hum prasanga। Shiv ki jata rahe Jyon ganga।। Tap karke bhagirath laye। Tihun lok kirti darshaye।।

Gupt vastu pragat dikhlayee। Nirgun Sargun samjho bhayee।। Vraksh beej mein hai sab thaura। Jab uge tab dikhe gaura।। Jaise panchi vraksh mein, kilaul karat din raen। Samadhaan mein srishti hai, vaas Kiya sukh chen।। Daalpaan sab nazron aayaw। Panchi kilaul karat hai chaya।। Phal panchi nar kare ahara। Ya leela sargun vistara।। Sargun bhoge bhagwana। Bahut vidhi vinse sant sujana।। Nadi naal mein aave jayee। Soot bina dhar pare bagayee।।

Gupt vastu pragat dikhlayee| Nirgun Sargun samjho bhai।।

On the misbehaviour of Kakbhushundi, sage Lomas got annoyed hence, cursed him that ‘you will take birth in the house of a Chandaal (Crow)’.

Vachan kaha jab hi chandala। Kaga ka mukh bhaya dayala।।.

Diya shraap yug yug kera। Garud Dev Anand mun bera।। Tamas krodh nahi hum keenha। Jab Lomas rishi diya deena।। Jab Lomas rishi Gyan sunaya। Sunat Gyan Chandal kahaya।। Jap Tap karni kirti sara। Suno Bhushand mere praan adhara। Koot hisan Karo prahara।  Kaagbhushand ke do avtara।।

Soon, the arrogant Kakbhushundi realized the mistake he had made. Therefore, he requested Lomas Rishi to bless him, asking that in whatever life form he may take on, he would always remember God and remain in the refuge of the Supreme Almighty.

Sage Lomas also realised his mistake of cursing out of annoyance; hence, blessed Kakbhushundi of the same.

After that, Kakbhushundi was born in the form of a crow-like human with the face  (beak) of a crow and the rest of the body as a human, thus named Kakbhushundi.

Later, Almighty God Kabir met Kakbhushundi in the form of Jogjeet and preached true spiritual knowledge and granted true salvation mantras, which made him eligible for the attainment of emancipation.

Here, a question would arise in the mind of readers

  • Does it suit sages and saints to curse?

Important: This true account reveals the very nature of sages in Brahm Kaals realm who are arrogant of their devotion, their accomplishments. Sages/ Saints should ideally be polite and humble. Devotion should burn vices in seekers. On the contrary, Lomas Rishi was arrogant and cursed Kakbhushundi due to annoyance. Vices did not go, even after years of intense austerity, because the way of worship adopted by seekers in Kaal's realm is against the injunctions of holy scriptures.

There isn’t any evidence in the holy scriptures about the death of sage Lomas. Sage Lomas is believed to be still suffering in the very long life he obtained after receiving a boon from Lord Shiva.

On the other side, Kakbhushundi was humble and a God-loving soul; therefore, Almighty Kabir blessed him by taking him into His refuge and familiarizing him with Tatvagyan.

Moving ahead, we will describe the conversation once held between Shri Ramchandra Ji and Lomas Rishi, whose evidence is found in Sachhidanand Ghan Brahm’s speech not known to the people of the world.

Dialogue Between Lomasha Rishi And Shri Ramchandra

The true story of Epic Ramayana is well known to everyone. But an important episode not known to people is a dialogue held between Lord Ramchandra and Sage Lomas, which we will brief here.

After Shri Ramchandra Ji expelled Sita Ji, he wanted to construct a palace for Ayodhya, for which a tunnel was to be made. The land was dug 20-30 feet, 50-100 feet deep to make it safe from enemies.

During the construction while digging earth the labour’s found a big round stone. When they hit, it broke into two halves. They saw a sage sitting inside with eyes closed doing meditation. They got scared he might curse; hence, they went to inform Shri Ramchandra Ji.

Lord Ram immediately came to the construction site. He bowed down to Lomas Rishi.

Their conversation:-

Lord Ram: Namo Narayan! Namo Narayan! Maharaj Ji, order.

Sage Lomas: (Opened eyes) Who are you?

Lord Ram: I am Ramchandra.

Sage Lomas: Has Tretayuga come?

Lord Ram: Yes, it’s Tretayuga.

Sage Lomas: Son of Dashrath?

Lord Ram: Yes.

Sage Lomas: Have you returned from exile?

Lord Ram: Yes

Sage Lomas: Is Sita expelled?

Lord Ram: Yes, expelled

He became very happy, wow!

Sage Lomas: Fine, do one thing: put the mud again and make your fort somewhere else. Bury me. Now, it will be Kalyuga. I will not come out in such a dirty realm. Currently, it's Treta; then Dwapar will come, and then Kalyuga.

Lord Ram: Maharaj Ji, being pleased, I want to give you a ring as my identification.

Sage Lomas: Put it in the vessel

Shri Ram drops the ring in the vessel.

Lord Ram: Maharaj Ji! There were already 83 rings in that vessel.

Sage Lomas: Brother! You are the 84th to come, and I am sitting here. Yours is the 84th turn in front of my age.

It is said in Suksham Veda

Tees crore Rama avtari aur Sita sang rehti nari||

Note: Whatever is happening in Kaal's realm is already scripted, and the movie is going on. That is why Lomas Rishi tells Shri Ram that you are the 84th Ram to have come. I have witnessed earlier 83 souls playing the role of Shri Ram, who had put their rings in the same vessel.

Lomas Rishi's Statement On Harm Caused By Keeping Fast

Ref: Ghat Ramayan written by Hathras Tulsidas Ji on page no. 242

Lomas Rishi an ascetic and a great scholar shares his bitter experience of sufferings in various life-forms by keeping fasts as revealed in his statements  mentioned in Ghat Ramayana. He tells about the harm caused by keeping fasts which is an eye-opener statement for seekers doing arbitrary worship not certified in holy scriptures hence, useless. Sage Lomas tells that Salvation cannot be attained by keeping various types of fasts.

Sahans baras ekadashi keenha। Ant janam makkhi kau leenha ॥

Aise brat keenha bahutera। Taa ka sunu bartant nibera॥

Pratham aitvaar kau keenha। Tase janam cheelh kau leenha ॥

Mangal bahu vidhi barat rahayee। Tase janam suwar kau payee॥

Aru puni barat teej kau keenha। Kookar janam tahi se leenha॥

Aru 'Pradosh' niyam se keenha। Khar kau janam tahi se leenha॥

Beetipaat bidhi se bidhi keenha। Janam jayee bandar kau leenha ॥

Naumi barat ashtami keenha। Tase janam moose kau leenha ॥

Aru Anant chaudas puni keenha। Tase janam unt kau leenha ॥

Meaning-Kept Ekadashi fast for one thousand years and at last was born as a fly. Similarly, keep fasting several  times, listen to them.

First of all, kept fast on Sunday. The life of an eagle was obtained. Tuesday fast was in several forms. With that, I got the body of a Pig. After that, I kept fast on Teej. Due to that, I was born as a dog. After that, I kept a fast of 'Pradosh' in my routine. Due to that, I was born as a donkey. With Navami and Ashtami fast I was born as a rat. After this kept fast on ‘Anant Chaudas’ . With that I was born as a Camel, with ‘Chaturthi' fast consider the birth of a Buffalo and several fasts were religiously done yet wasn't liberated.

Who Is Immortal?

Param Akshar Brahm/ Satpurush Kavir Dev, the creator of the entire universe, is immortal. He is the Supreme God who is glorified in the Vedas, the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the Holy Bible, the Holy Guru Granth Sahib and the Pious Quran Sharif.

God Kavir Dev's realm means Anamilok/ Akahlok, Agamlok, Alakhlok and Satlok are immortal (evidence Aadi Ramaini- Sad Granth, page no. 690 to 692 in the nectar words of respected Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj).

The two realms of Akshar Purush and Kshar Purush are mortal, and so are the beings residing there.

Also, all the souls, be they in any realm, are immortal, but their cover is mortal. Therefore, the soul aspires to attain immortality like Lomas Rishi.

Conclusion

Lomas Rishi failed to attain immortality in Brahm Kaal’s realm because of the wrong way of devotion. Had he taken refuge in an enlightened saint and would have done true devotion to Almighty Kabir instead of worshipping Tamogun Shiva/ Shankar, he would have been liberated and would have attained immortality. But he was unfortunate and hence remained prey to butcher Kaal.

Today, Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is the only living Satguru/ Enlightened saint on earth. It is advised that without fail, everyone should take His refuge and become immortal by reaching God's world, Satlok, by doing true devotion to the Supreme God Kabir. Do not miss a chance like Lomas Rishi.
