The world where we live has multiple religious beliefs therefore, it becomes difficult to judge what is the right way of worship? Which God is the ocean of happiness? Who is worshipable God? Every devotee’s first aim of worship is to please their respective God/Goddess intending to seek their blessings to get the worldly benefits and enhancement of prosperity. Without forgetting the sole purpose of human birth which is to do true worship of Almighty and attain emancipation, if we talk about worshipping Devi Saraswati then usually devotees adore her to get the ability to possess more knowledge and wisdom.
Goddess Saraswati popularly known to be the Hindu Goddess of Wisdom and knowledge is also associated with music, art, intellect, speech and learning. Devi Saraswati is also greeted by names such as Vagdevi, Sharada, Veenavadini etc. The Vedic Goddess of wisdom is portrayed in idols and pictures holding Veena (a musical instrument) in one hand, a pot of sacred water (symbolic of purification of powers), a rosary signifying the power of spirituality and a small size book that symbolizes her to be the epitome of true knowledge. Seated on a blooming Lotus flower surrounded by a Swan and a Peacock she is the symbol of learning, intellect and education hence is worshipped by students and scholars. Generally, educational institutions commemorate the festival Vasant Panchami with great zeal & enthusiasm to gain insights, learning & wisdom hence they do Saraswati Vandana on this day and chant mantra like
“ॐ ऐंमहासरस्वत्यै नमः,/ Om shree mahaSaraswatyai namaH”
Facts prove this is an arbitrary way of worship and holds no significance in any religious scriptures. The legendary belief about Goddess Saraswati is that being the Goddess of knowledge she is known to be the guide for the souls in the deceased world who provides the divine knowledge of afterlife means, way of worship for the attainment of salvation; which is a myth.
Srimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16 Verse 23 states ‘He who acts according to the whimsical desires by abandoning the injunctions of the scriptures neither attains perfection, nor salvation and not even happiness’.
This article will provide information about Goddess Saraswati based on facts from authentic religious texts which will aim to prove whether devotees should worship Goddess Saraswati aiming to get knowledge and prosperity in life or is there some other supreme power whose worship provides complete happiness and prosperity to souls and above all salvation.

Goddess Saraswati is the Daughter of Lord Brahma and Goddess Savitri
There are many mysterious facts described in folklore and legends regarding the birth of Saraswati Mata. One legend states that she emerged from the mouth of Shri Brahma. It is also said that she appeared from the body of Devi Shakti Durga/Prakriti/Ashtangi on the other hand another folklore states she emerged from the Nabhi chakra (navel lotus) of Lord Vishnu. Different religious books of the Hindu religion depict her birth in different ways. However, the reality is that Goddess Saraswati is the daughter of Lord Brahma and Goddess Savitri.Moving ahead, the true story taken from a sacred book will prove this fact
Ref: Book ‘Garima Gita Ki’ Chapter 2, Writer is Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj - Page 36-37
Once several deities were present in the court of Lord Brahma. Goddess Saraswati the daughter of Shri Brahma and Goddess Savitri was inspired by her colleagues to get married hence they suggested that she must go to the court of her father where fortunately many deities were present that day. With the desire to choose a husband for her; Devi Saraswati came to the assembly hall where several deities including her father were sitting. She was holding a garland in her hand, was well dressed and heavily ornamented. She was looking glamorous. Seeing her beauty, her father Lord Brahma got attracted to his daughter Devi Saraswati. He got highly fascinated and vice like lust aggravated a strong desire in him which forced him to have a relationship with his daughter hence he took her in his arms and tried to misbehave.
At that very moment Lord Shiva immediately appeared there and warned Lord Brahma to come to senses. Soon Shri Brahma Ji realized his mistake and felt guilty for misbehaving with his daughter. Lord Brahma soon relinquished his body. Then his mother Goddess Durga wife of Brahm-Kaal appeared and provided him another body with her word power of the same age. The same soul Shri Brahma is currently enthroned as Lord Brahma equipped with Rajo Guna (rajas) and performing his duty as allotted by his father Brahm-Kaal/Satan/Devil/Butcher/Kshar Purush.
Note: Dear readers, think deeply if Tridev like Shri Brahma Ji who out of ignorance is believed to be the creator by devotees cannot control his vices then how can an ordinary human being have control over vices? This is a huge Kaals’ trap which needs to be understood.
Important: Vices can only be suppressed by true worship of Almighty. For that the seekers must come under the shelter of Supreme God/Param Akshar Brahm/Satpurush. This will be dealt later in this write-up. Advice, keep reading article to know more spiritual facts.Aforesaid proves Lord Brahma is the father and Goddess Savitri is the mother of Devi Saraswati.
Are Goddess Gayatri and Goddess Saraswati the Same?
Legends told to innocent devotee society by ignorant priests/Brahmins to date state that Goddess Saraswati is Vedmata (mother of Vedas) and Goddess Gayatri and Goddess Savitri are associated with her and she is the consort of Lord Brahma. It has been mentioned in the nectar speech of Sachidanandghan Brahma that is, in Suksham Veda which Almighty Himself by coming to earth from His immortal abode has spoken that
Moti Mukta Darshat nahi ye jag hai sab andh re |
Deekhat ke to nain chisamin ke phira motiya bind re ||
These so-called scholars/Saints/Sages/Mandaleshwars/Brahmins/religious gurus seem to be knowledgeable but actually were blind in religious knowledge. They did not know ABC of true spirituality and passed on legendary knowledge generation after generation.
The fact is Goddess Saraswati is the daughter of Lord Brahma and Goddess Savitri and not the consort (as proved above). Goddess Gayatri is not Goddess Saraswati. All three Goddesses are separate entities. Let us study facts from holy text.
Reference Suksham Veda- Kabir Sagar
Once Lord Brahma went in search for his father and stopped the work of creation of living beings. On the instruction from Brahm-Kaal to bring back Shri Brahma; Goddess Durga with her word power created a girl called ‘Gayatri’ and ordered her to bring back Brahma who later developed a relationship with him and became a witness in his falsehood. In Spite of several efforts Lord Brahma could not even get a glimpse of Brahm-Kaal since he had taken a vow not to appear to anyone in his real form. But ashamed Lord Brahma being in vain told lie to his mother Goddess Durga that he found Kaal Brahm and said two girls Gayatri and Puhapvati are his witness. This lie aroused anger in Ashtangi/Durga/Prakriti hence she cursed all three.
This fact proves Goddess Gayatri is a separate entity than Goddess Saraswati.
Having understood that Goddess Saraswati daughter of Lord Brahma and Devi Savitri is a separate entity. Let us know about her placement in human body
Placement of Goddess Saraswati in Human Body
Ref: Kabir Sagar in Chapter ‘Anurag Sagar’ page 151, Chapter‘ Bhavtaran Bodh’ page 57, Chapter ‘Kabir Vani’ page 111 and Chapter ‘Panch Mudra’ page 190-191
It has been mentioned in SukshamVed that the Gods who are involved in the coordination of Kaal’s world reside in lotus Chakras built in our human body. Each of them has a specific mantra which works only when granted by the enlightened saint. When the true worshipper meaning the seeker who chants true salvation mantras after taking initiation from Tatvadarshi sant renounces human body he/she has to cross regions of these heads so as to be liberated from kaal’s world and to attain immortal abode-Satlok. These lotus Chakras are
- ‘Moola Chakra’ governed by Lord Ganesha.
- ‘Swadkamal or Anahad Kamal’ governed by Lord Brahma and Goddess Savitri.
- ‘Nabhi Kamal’ governed by Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi.
- ‘Hridaya Kamal’ governed by Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
- ‘Kanth Kamal’ governed by Goddess Durga.
- ‘Sangam Kamal’ which has three petals is a lotus chakra where Goddess Saraswati resides. In reality Goddess Durga only resides in the form of Saraswati.
There is reference in Kabir Sagar ‘Bhavtaran Bodh’ page 111 (957) that in one petal complete God Kavirdev Himself resides, on page 57 (903) it is mentioned that Durga in the form of Goddess Saraswati resides here along with other 72 crore beautiful goddesses in the second petal. This trap has been made by Dharamraj to mislead seekers to remain trapped in Kaals’ web. Devi Saraswati along with all 72 crore beautiful celestial Nymphs sing in melodious voices and roam around half-naked here to divert attention of true seekers. Here it is the tough examination of true worshippers. It is a huge barrier.
There are several lonely places here where an ignorant person gets defeated and falls in Kaal’s trap. Only a true worshipper with the grace of Almighty gets saved. In the third petal Brahm-Kaal resides in mind-form along with a crore other young deities who try to mislead female devotees and catches them in his trap. Male devotees who get diverted seeing beautiful women also suffer here and fall in the trap of Kaal. Almighty/Satpurush here saves his true worshippers by guiding them correctly. Thereafter, seekers reach Trikuti and onwards heading towards Satlok.
This is huge Kaal’s trap which needs to be understood by devotees so that they can be saved from getting trapped in Kaal’s web and attain immortal abode by doing true worship as told by enlightened saint. As Aforementioned, Goddess Saraswati resides in the sixth lotus chakra built in the human body.
Establishment of Saraswati Sangam Teerth
Brahm Kaal plays foul by misleading devotees to worship against scriptures like worshipping Goddess Saraswati and other Gods/Goddess. When the Almighty met him at the start of golden age he told he will misguide seekers in Kalyug to do arbitrary worship like going for pilgrimage which will be sheer wastage of human life. This is proved from his speech mentioned in pious Kabir Sagar Chapter ‘Gyan Sagar’ page 62-63-speech from ‘Anurag Sagar’
Dharam Rai (Kaal Niranjan) Statement
Ved-Shastra samarti gun gana, putra mere teen pradhana
Teenahu bahu baaji rachi rakha, hamri mahima gyan mukh bhakha
Deval Dev pashan poojaai, teerth vrat jap-tap man laai
Puja vishva dev aradhi, yeh mati jeevo ko rakha bandhi
Yagya homarunem achaara, aur anek fand mein daara
Jo gyaani jaao sansaara, jeev na maane kaha tumhara
Here readers will come to know the reality about the establishment of Saraswati Sangam Teerth visiting where it does not provide devotees any spiritual benefit rather this true story regarding its establishment turns out to be a disgusting and shameful act.
Ref: ‘Shri Brahma Purana’ published from Gita Press Gorakhpur on page 172-173
There exists a long story behind the establishment of the ‘Saraswati Sangam Tirth’. In Brahma Purana, it has been written that one day Goddess Saraswati was sitting in the court of her father, Shri Brahma Ji in which a cultural program was going on. People were dancing and singing. In the court, a king named "Pururava'' was also sitting and enjoying the program. He had supernatural powers due to which he came into the court of Shri Brahma Ji from earth. After some time, the king saw Devi Saraswati and was seduced by her beauty. On the other hand, Devi Saraswati too got tempted towards King Pururva. To know who the beautiful woman is, King Pururva made enquiries about Devi Saraswati from another person also present in court and came to know that she is the daughter of Lord Brahma.
After Knowing about gorgeous Goddess Saraswati the king sent a message to Devi Saraswati to meet him alone to which she accepted and went to meet him. Both of them met on the bank of a river. Charmed by the beauty and youth thereafter, both developed intimate relationship without anyone's permission. One day Shri Brahma Ji caught both in an embarrassing situation hence became annoyed. Lord Brahma cursed Devi Saraswati for her act of keeping a relationship without marriage with the King. Devi Saraswati couldn't tolerate this insult & ashamed of herself she jumped into the river and died.
After the departure of Goddess Saraswati, King Pururva started doing austerity on the bank of the river, in deep pain due to detachment from Devi Saraswati. The whole incident named that place ‘Saraswati Sangam Teerth’ by the naïve souls due to lack of true spiritual knowledge. The place where both did heinous sin became a place of pilgrimage thereafter and innocent seekers claim visiting this pilgrimage will provide them all benefits and that they will attain salvation.
Sitting on that river bank, King Pururva did devotion that's why people have perceived that this pilgrimage is pious and can fulfil their wishes, will destroy their sins, and will provide spiritual benefits too but people forget that the King had done meditation with a dirty intention, in the hope of getting Devi Saraswati since vice like lust was dominating him. The devotees should themselves ponder
- Is it worth going to such a useless place aiming to attain any kind of benefit and salvation?
Important:-Aforesaid, true story proves it is impossible to control vices in Kaal’s world. Worshipping Goddess Saraswati and other demigods is worthless. Visiting places of pilgrimage is sheer wastage of human life since it is an arbitrary practice not certified in any Holy scripture.

In this context, Lord Kabir Ji says in his sacred speech:-
Tirth vrat aur ye pitra puja, konya kisi kaam ki ||
Lekar naam guru se bhakti, kar Kabir bhagwan ki ||
Meaning:- God Kabir/Param Akshar Brahm through His sacred speech tells that wandering on any pilgrimage, keeping fast & worshipping ancestors (Pitra-puja) that is, carrying out shraddha etc. is all useless, do worship of Almighty Kabir by taking initiation from complete authorised Saint.
In yet another speech God Kabir tells
Tirath kari kari jag mua, dund hai panina hai ||
Ramahi ram japanta, Kaal ghasitya jayi ||
Meaning:- Mislead devotees take bath in rivers in the name of worshipping and visiting Teerth, although they remember Rama, that is, chant the name of Ram, yet Kaal ( Satan/Shaitan) drags them away i.e. they die miserably.
Important: Seekers go to several places of pilgrimage like Amarnath, Vaishno Devi, Saraswati Sangam Teerth etc. in search of God and attainment of immortality but all in vain. Here it is advised, devotees should identify who is real Ram? Chanting the name of Ram will not bring any benefit. Chanting the name of Real Ram (Adi Ram/ God Kabir) will only be beneficial when it is remembered from the heart by taking the actual salvation mantra from the true saint.
Now we move on to the most enduring question – Is Goddess Saraswati really the provider of wisdom and knowledge? Let’s check out facts
Is Goddess Saraswati Really the Provider of Wisdom and Knowledge?
This is a myth prevalent amongst devotee society that Goddess Sarasawti is the provider of wisdom and knowledge. Had this been true then inspite of millions of devotees of Goddess Saraswati across the globe people lack in their educational life and wisdom. Why are they not getting benefits? They perform Saraswati Vandana, celebrate Vasant Panchami, do Saraswati puja but all efforts to seek blessing from Goddess Saraswati are in vain.
Almighty Kabir in His nectar speech says
Guruwan gaam bigade santo guruwan gaam bigade ||
Aise karam jeev ke la diye ab jhade na jhade ||
The reason is the contemporary and ignorant sages/saints/Mandaleshwars/gurus have ruined precious life of human beings by imparting spiritual knowledge that was against the injunctions of scriptures and have kept them away from true spiritual knowledge. This gave rise to arbitrary worship which is useless and now it is getting very difficult to make devotees believe that they are trapped in useless worship which is ruining their life.
About religious gurus Kabir Saheb also says that
Kanthi mala sumarnee yeh pehre se kya hoye ||
upar dunda saadh kaa aur andar rakhya kho ||
From outside these religious gurus seem to be great saints, they apply marks on their forehead, by wearing prayer beads, it seems they are intellectuals, great scholars, but actually they do not know ABC about spirituallty, they have no knowledge, they are filled with ignorance. They merely show off, as if they are great scholars, pretend to be intelligent but they are filled with ignorance and have no knowledge.
Such ignorant religious gurus have told devotees to do useless worship like Saraswati Vandana to gain wisdom and knowledge from Goddess Saraswati which is false. Finally when it is clear that worshipping Goddess Saraswati is useless another important question needs to be answered – is Goddess Saraswati immortal and provider of salvation? Let us find out.
Is Goddess Saraswati Immortal and Provider of Salvation?
It has been said in SachidanandghanBrahm speech that is, in the nectar speech uttered from the Lotus mouth of Almighty Kabir, the creator of entire universes that
Gun teeno ki bhakti mein, yeh bhool pado sansaar ||
Kahe Kabir nij naam bina, kaise utron paar ||
Teen dev ki jo karte bhakti, unki kadey naa hovey mukti ||
The worshippers of Hindu Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) and their consorts do not attain salvation. These Gods themselves are in the vicious cycle of birth and death (Evidence in Concise Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Puran on page no 123, third Skanda).
Srimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15 Verse 16 states all Gods including Brahm-Kaal/Kshar Purush, ParBrahm/Akshar Purush and rest Gods under them are all mortal and so are all creatures in Kaal’s world, however the soul is immortal. More evidence regarding birth and death of Gods and Goddesses along with all creatures have also been mentioned in Gita Chapter 8 Verse 16, Chapter 4 Verse 5 and 9, Chapter 2 Verse 12, and Chapter 10 Verse 2.
Almighty Kabir tells in His nectar speech
Bhajan karo us rab da jo data hai kul sabka ||
Meaning: Remember only that God who is the creator, the nurturer of everyone. He is Param Akshar Brahm/Purna Brahm.
Srimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15 Verse 17 tells that Purna Brahm/Satyapurush/Param Akshar Brahm only is immortal. He on entering into the three worlds nurtures and sustains everyone. He is the provider of prosperity, Wisdom and Salvation. No other God/Goddess can do it hence, should not be worshipped.
In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 17 Kaal God is saying ‘Arjun we all are in the cycle of birth-death. Consider only that God (Purna Brahm) as immortal/eternal by whom all three brahmands have originated’.
As Aforementioned, Goddess Saraswati herself is in the cycle of birth and death similar to the rest of the Gods of Kaal. She is mortal, she in reality is not the provider of emancipation.Having understood that worshipping Goddess Saraswati provides no benefit let us find out then who is a worshipable God who can provide emancipation?
Who is Worshipable God?
In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 Verse 62 the knowledge giver of Gita Brahm-Kaal is saying to Arjuna that ‘O Bharat! By all means you go in the shelter of only that Supreme God with whose grace you will attain supreme peace and Sanatan ultimate abode that is, Satlok/Sachkhand going where the seeker never comes back in this world and get permanent relief from the vicious cycle of birth and death.
- In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 Verse 64 Brahm-Kaal says ‘Arjuna this Purna Brahm is also my definite revered God’.
- In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 Verse 66 Brahm-Kaal says ‘Arjuna, you relinquish all my religious practices in me and go in refuge of that one unique God. I will release you from all sins. You will be liberated.
- The true salvation mantra to attain Supreme God/Satpurush/Param Akshar Brahm has been mentioned in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17 Verse 23 which is ‘OM-Tat-Sat’ (Coded). He is worshipable God and no one else.
- This proves worship of Goddess Saraswati is useless. Her worship is arbitrary and holds no evidence in any holy scriptures. She is not the provider of salvation. Salvation is only granted by Almighty Kabir.
Hence devotees must immediately abandon all useless practices and worship only Supreme God/ Param Akshar Brahm/ Satpurush Kabir Dev.
Conclusion
The following conclusions have been drawn from aforesaid
- Goddess Saraswati is the daughter of Lord Brahma and Goddess Savitri.
- Goddess Gayatri, Goddess Savitri and Goddess Saraswati are three separate entities.
- Goddess Saraswati resides in the sixth lotus chakra in the human body.
- Fact regarding the establishment of Saraswati Sangam Teerth proves that worshipping and going to pilgrimage is useless since such a shameful act was done by both Goddess Saraswati and King Pururva and ignorant devotees are misled hence need not visit there anymore.
- Devi Saraswati is mortal and not the provider of knowledge, wisdom, and salvation.
- Almighty Kabir is only worshipable. He is immortal and an ocean of happiness. He is the provider of salvation.
Gita Chapter 4 Verse 34 tells the enlightened saint will tell the real salvation mantras chanting which God will be attained.
Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj says relinquishing pride, one should take initiation from a complete Saint and get one’s welfare done, Otherwise one will have to suffer heavier than a mountain. Today He is the only enlightened saint on earth who provides true spiritual knowledge and true salvation mantras. He guarantees that a seeker who does true worship after taking initiation from him and remains in rules of worship will surely be blessed and will attain emancipation. It is a humble request to all readers to analyse the knowledge given by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj leave worshipping Goddess Saraswati and other demigods of Kaal and get your welfare done.
