The Deception of Sage Agastya Muni by Kaal Brahm

The Deception of Sage Agastya Muni by Kaal Brahm

The biggest irony of Satan Kaal Brahm's mortal world is that the innocent souls trapped in his web undergo severe penance to attain God and achieve many powers. They in fact, remained far from attaining God but due to those accomplishments gained people put them in the category of God.

Due to a lack of true spiritual knowledge, people are unable to differentiate that God is never born and never dies but such perfect men, ascetics, saints and sages who obtained certain powers were born from the womb of a mother and also died after the completion of the stipulated time.

The point is, we have always heard that God is immortal, indestructible but the beings with siddhis i.e. Sadhus, Saints, Mahants, Mandaleshwars and all God-loving souls are mortal. Then how can they be God?

Is merely a showcase of powers by perfect men a benchmark for assessing them as God?

Through this article, we will tell about a renowned sage of the ancient Vedic period popularly known as Agastya Rishi/ Agathiyar/ Agasthiyar in Hinduism whom the devotees praise because of his highly elevated devotional state as he displayed his powers.

Let us proceed to know Agastya Rishi's Story, his display of accomplishments and what he achieved after years of severe austerity.

In the light of true spiritual knowledge based on facts from Suksham Veda, we would also do a comparative analysis of a few more great seekers possessing powers gained from hard penance who also showcased their strength but none could attain the sole purpose of human birth which is attaining salvation and they all remained prey to the owner of 21 universes means Satan Kaal hence, suffered in 84 lacs life forms. Even the demi gods fall in the same category.

How Agastya was Born?

Ref: Shree Vishnu Puran published from Geeta Press Gorakhpur, the translator is Shree Munilal Gupt, Chapter 4, Verse 72-94

Sadhu Vashist Muni was a great sage and the guru of the famous King Nimi. Once the King resolved to perform a religious sacrifice for one thousand years and allocated this responsibility to Vashist Muni.

On the other hand, the King of Heaven means Lord Indra gave responsibility to Sage Vashist to perform Yagya for him for 500 years to which Vashist Ji gave acceptance out of greed to get huge wealth as a reward from Lord Indra.

He assured King Nimi that after completing the Yagya ritual in Heaven he would do it for him later.

King Nimi did not want to wait hence, he requested Gautam Rishi to perform Yagya.

When Sadhu Vashist Muni returned after 500 years completing Yagya for Indra he got furious seeing Sage Gautan performing the ritual. He cursed Nimi for death. King Nimi’s anger knew no bounds and in turn, he also cursed Sage Vashist Muni for the destruction of his mortal body. Both died.

After some time, Vashist Ji's soul was reborn when once two sages named Mitra and Varuna  were performing a religious ritual and both saw one beautiful celestial 'Apsra Urvashi'.  Both got overwhelmed hence, ejaculated and released their semen in two separate mud jars from which the soul of Vasistha was reborn. He was named Vasistha itself. The second was named Kumaj Rishi who was later called Agastya Rishi/ Agathiyar/ Agastya.

What is Agastya Muni Famous For?

Agastya Muni was a great worshipper famous for his mystical powers and immense power over nature wherein he drained oceans as well as conquered hills. Agastya grew up as a popular ascetic who devoted his life to performing tenacity in jungles and wandering several places all across. Agastya/Agathiyar/ Agasthiyar is well known for his holistic approach to health thereby contributing to the field of Ayurveda.

When evaluated in the light of true spiritual knowledge the most important point has been noted here that despite possessing so much powers Agathiyar/ Agasthiyar  failed to attain emancipation because of performing practice against the specified norms of revered scriptures. He performed arbitrarily hence, suffered in 84 lakhs life-forms and became the food of Brahm Kaal.

How did Agastya Muni Marry Princess Lopamudra of Vidarbha?

Agastya Rishi renounced the materialistic world and went to the Jungle (Forest) to attain God. When he was aged 30-40 he started wandering from place to place. He used to charge his battery first, which means he used to perform penance for six months in a year with which he used to gain powers and for rest six months he used to wander from village to village and from city to city.

Note: By performing austerity the seekers gain spiritual powers. This is the law in Kaal Brahm's realm. He provides accomplishments to seekers doing meditation/ Hatha Yoga.

Agastya Muni was glorified because of those accomplishments.

The King of Vidarbha was childless. The King got to know that one renowned sage had arrived in his kingdom after completing severe austerity in the forest therefore, the King requested him to grace him for his service for a few days to which Agastya Muni agreed.

Then the King requested that he does not have a child. Agastya Muni blessed the King that he will be blessed with a child soon. Then Agastya Rishi went away. With his blessing, the Queen gave birth to a girl named Lopamudra.

After wandering as usual for 12 years, sage Agastya came back in the same range of that kingdom.

The King came to know about the arrival of Agastya Muni in his Kingdom. The King greeted Agastya warmly and spread flowers on the way starting from his territory.  He got a lot of cheering done for the Sage. The people of the city stood on both sides on the way, to welcome Agastya Muni.

The King took his 12 year old young daughter princess Lopamudra along with him. The King introduced his daughter to Agastya Ji saying ‘Lord! I have received this girl with your blessing. I am grateful to you. Maharaja, we request you to honour us by giving us the opportunity to serve you for some days’.

Although Sage Agastya became happy but initially he denied saying ‘I do not stay for more than one day’. But when the King insisted, Sadhu Agastya/ Agathiyar/ Agasthiyar agreed to stay for two days. The King told his daughter Lopamudra to serve the sage wholeheartedly saying that ‘you are born with his blessing. You serve him'.

Here, butcher Brahm Kaal played foul which is his inferior quality anyway. With Kaal's inspiration, the vice like lust, greed, affection aggravated in Sage Agastya and he being an ascetic got overwhelmed by the beauty of the Princess Lopamudra.

Sage Agastya stayed there for seven days instead of two. While leaving, Agastya Muni said to the King ‘I want to demand something from you'.

The King said ‘what can we give you. Everything belongs to you. You order'.

Sage Agastya demanded the Princess Lopamudra's hand in marriage to which the King had to agree with a heavy heart due to the fear that if he denied then this forest dweller Sage might curse. He is very powerful and I would be destroyed.

So eventually, the King gave the hand of the Princess Lopamudra for marriage to Rishi Agastya.

Finally, Sage Agastya got married to the Princess Lopamudra and then spent the life of a householder whereas initially, his focus was to do devotion and attain God discarding materialistic pleasures.

Note: Agastya Muni blessed the King with a daughter. So, in a way, the Princess Lopamudra was his daughter. The vices dominated so much in Sage Agastya that he married his daughter which was a shameful act. Not glory but such a person actually deserves condemnation.

Important: This is how Kaal ruins innocent devotees and spoils their precious human birth by letting them remain trapped in his web of illusion.

Let us proceed to get an answer to one important question:-

  • Which sage drank the water of the entire ocean in homage?

Agastya Muni Drank Seven Oceans

It has been mentioned in Suksham Ved that with the true devotion of Almighty Kabir, means by chanting Satnam and Sarnaam the seeker gains 24 accomplishments.

Respected Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj tells in his nectar speech

Shabad mahal mein siddh chaubeesa Hans bichode bisve beesa||

These Siddhis/ spiritual powers in Kaal Brahms's realm are no achievement to beings rather they finally end up as his enemy. Due to these accomplishments, the human gets Lordship, and becomes famous. People start glorifying him and he gets a huge fan-following. He continues performing practice against the injunctions of holy scriptures and fails to be liberated.

Note: Apart from the way of worship of the Supreme God Kabir Sahib all other devotional practices are merely to gain accomplishments with which only Heaven is attained for a specified duration. Completing it the beings keep revolving and suffer in 84 lacs life-forms.

Ek Siddhi sab sagar peeve||

Agastya Muni did unscriptural devotion the whole life and gained one power.

With that, once he drank the water of seven oceans of earth in one gulp. All oceans became empty. Then the sages, and deities requested him to fill all oceans. Agastya Rishi rinsed and filled the entire ocean.

Important: Agastya Rishi inspite of possessing so much power, remained deprived of attaining salvation.

Brahm Kaal is a deceiver. He cheats beings for his selfish motive. Sage Agastya was not the only one but there had been several great men, sages, saints even gods whom Kaal deceived and destroyed their precious human births who showcased their powers, were glorified but remained in his huge trap and finally ended their lives and after, suffered in the vicious cycle of birth-rebirth, hell, 84 lakhs life-forms.

Few examples:-

  • Sage Durvasa, an accomplished ascetic, cursed the whole Yadav clan and became the reason for their destruction. Lord Krishna witnessed the destruction of his whole family but was helpless and could not save them. Even he died. Durvasa did not attain salvation despite being so powerful.
  • Gorakhnath was a perfect man who converted a mud mountain into a gold mountain. Also, he revived his Guru Matsyendernath but he also remained trapped in the web of Kaal.

It has been mentioned in Suksham Veda

Govardhan Shri Krishna ne dhara, Dronagiri Hanumant|  Aur Sheshnag

Sari prithvee uthayo inme Kaun Bhagwant||

  • Lord Krishna, the incarnation of Satogun Shri Vishnu Ji lifted Govardhan mountain on his little finger yet he remained in the web of butcher Brahm Kaal and had a miserable death when a hunter shooted a poisoned arrow in his foot. He is also worshipped as God.
  • Hanuman Ji, believed to be the incarnation of Tamogun Lord Shankar was a powerful man and a steadfast devotee of Shri Ramchandra. Hanuman flew in the sky with the spiritual powers he had and lifted Dronagiri mountain and brought it for the treatment of Laxman. He did not attain salvation.
  • It is a belief that Sheshnaag holds the Earth on his head. Is he God? Has he attained salvation?

It has been mentioned in Sacchidanand Ghan Brahm's speech

Kabir, kate bandhan vipatti mein, kathin kiyo sangraam| Chinho re nar praaniyo, yah Garud bado ke Ram||

  • Maryada Purushottam Ram did not get a way from the ocean when he stood knee-deep inside it for seven days and prayed to God of the Ocean to cross it to reach Lanka. He and his whole army were tied with a weapon called Serpent noose during the war with Ravana. Ram became helpless and could not do anything. Then Garud, the vehicle of Lord Vishnu was called who cut all snakes and freed Ram whom the innocent devotees worshipped as God. Lord Ram died and the soul is still suffering. He was not liberated.

In this context, it has been mentioned in Suksham Veda

Samudr paat Lanka gayo, Sita ko Bhartar|| Aur Agastya Rishi ne saato pee liye, inmein kaun kartar||

Point to Ponder

This proves none of the above-mentioned were God. All took birth and died after the completion of the stipulated time, the same as Sage Agastya. None was liberated.

Now, the question arises – Who is God?

What is Agastya The God Of?

The belief that Agastya Muni was God is a myth. The same has been proved by a few examples stated above.

Our ancient revered authentic scriptures clearly define who is God. Not any perfect man showcasing a few miracles should be counted in the category of God.

Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are the Demi Gods in 21 universes. Even Goddess Durga, and Lord Ganesha are not the complete God and not even Kaal Brahm. Leave aside divinities like Lord Indra, Kuber, Shanidev, Suryadev, Goddess Laxmi, Parvati, Saraswati and even 33 koti deities who possess very limited powers.

All authentic scriptures of all religions provide clear evidence that ‘KavirDev’ is God. He is the creator of the entire universe. The same is certified in Suksham Veda which is the collection of nectar speeches of Sacchidanand Ghan Brahm/ Satpurush/ Shabad Swaroopi Ram.

The evidence that Kabir is God is mentioned in Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 96 Mantra 18, Rigved Mandal 10 Sukt 4 Mantra 3, Rigved Mandal 9 Sukt 96 Mantra 17, Rigved Mandal 10 Sukt 90 Mantras 1- 5, Yajurved Adhyay 5 Mantra 1, 6, 8, Adhyay 1 Mantra 15, and Adhyaya 7 Mantra 39, Atharvaveda Kand no 4 Anuvaak no 1 Mantra 7, Holy Srimad Bhagavad Gita 8:3, 15:4, 16,17 and 18:62, 64 and 66.

These afore-mentioned excerpts from revered scriptures and even more stand as guiding factors to believe that Kabir is God and no one else. He has been since time immemorial. He is immortal.

Sage Agastya is not God but simply a being possessing few spiritual powers and is mortal.

Does Agastya Mean Shiva?

Lord Shiva is the youngest son of God Sadashiva/ Kaal Brahm/ Jyoti Niranjan/ Mahashiva and Goddess Durga/ Ashtangi. Shiva/ Shankar is equipped with Tamogun and his role in the 21 universes of his father is of destruction. He kills beings and arranges food for his father since God Sadashiva is cursed to eat the grime of subtle bodies of one lakh humans everyday. The power of Lord Shiva is confined only within three realms Earth, Heaven and the Netherworld.

Rajogun Lord Brahma is his eldest brother and Satogun Vishnu is his second brother.

Agastya Muni was a great sage in Hinduism who was well known for the powers he obtained performing penance but was not God. He was not Shiva but used to worship him since Shiva was his revered deity, therefore, he should not be compared with him. The only common similarity between the two was that both are mortal and keep suffering in 84 lacs life-forms. Both are two separate individuals.

What Did Agastya Rishi Do?

One of the prominent sages of Hindu tradition, Sage Agastya, a revered figure is worshipped by many as God. He spent most of the time in forests performing penance. Due to the revelation of his powers, he became worshipable at many places because devotees get easily carried away by miracles shown by some seeker. Sage Agastya did the same.

The evidence from holy scriptures denies him as worshipable. Such display of powers has been strictly abandoned in the scriptures.

Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is the most reliable and authentic holy scripture of Hinduism which is the gist of all four Vedas.

In Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16 Verse 23 it has been said that seekers who abandon the method of worship told in holy scriptures and follow the way of worship according to their eccentric desires do not achieve any accomplishment and also do not attain salvation. Such seekers hardly even get any happiness in life which means the life of that devotee who performs unscriptural devotion becomes a waste and gets spoiled.

In Chapter 16 Verse 24, it has been mentioned that the authentic scriptures (pious 4 Vedas) are the testimony as to which practice should be done and which should be abandoned.

A similar message has been conveyed by the knowledge giver of Gita in Chapter 6:16

This proves that the method of worship adopted by Agastya Muni means performing penance/Hatha Yoga was not a certified way of devotion hence, useless.

This was the reason why he could not attain salvation and wasted his precious human birth. All his religious doings were useless.

Conclusion

The following conclusions have been drawn from the real story of Rishi Agastya/ Agathiyar/ Agasthiyar based on facts from holy scriptures.

  • Kaal Brahm plays foul with seekers like Agastya Muni.
  • Sage Agastya got very few powers by doing austerity.
  • Agastya Muni performed devotion out of his whimsical desires hence useless.
  • Accomplishments became the enemy of Agastya Muni because he failed to achieve the sole purpose of human birth which is attaining salvation.
  • Agastya Rishi was a great sage possessing few spiritual powers but was not God.
  • God is never attained by Hatha Yoga/ austerity/ practice against authentic holy scriptures.
  • God is the one and only KavirDev.

All readers are advised to quit practice which is not following our holy scriptures to avoid becoming prey to butcher Brahm Kaal. Instead, devotees should do devotion to the creator of the entire universe, Supreme God Kabir by taking shelter from the complete Satguru who provides true spiritual knowledge and grants true salvation mantras Satnaam and Sarnaam with which the disease of birth-rebirth finishes forever and eternal world Satlok is attained.

Today Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is the only living enlightened saint on earth as certified in Gita 15:1-4, 16,17. All devotees must take refuge and practice true devotion so that no devotee should fail in their aim of attaining emancipation, like Agastya Rishi.
